Hi! How are you? I’m so glad you’re here.

A dear friend reminded me that very few paths are linear, but the path always leads us to ourselves. Amen.

Market season is here. The pollinator series is winding down. Exciting opportunities are on the horizon. Life is so good.

With gratitude, Lisa

New cards! I have some beautiful new greeting cards courtesy of my friends at Lakes Printing in Brainerd. I’ll have these in my online shop soon, but if you’re heading out to one of the upcoming markets, you will find them there too!

*****

Market Season starts today! This is the first market at Roundhouse, and I’m excited to be part of it. I will have original art, paper collage jewelry, cards, and more. Bruce will bring glass ornaments, vases, and other blown glass items. There will be many great vendors there. If you live nearby, I’d love to see you.

Coco Moon Holiday Market!

An art kid’s favorite haunt in the BLA. Tasty coffee and treats, art on the walls, and often live music. This is a terrific community-focused space run by one of the kindest souls on earth - Dawn. Bruce and I will be there, as will Karissa with original art and nutcrackers, and Jamie with hand printed linocut cards. There will be something for everyone, including those with eclectic tastes. (the weirdo in us acknowledges the weirdo in you).

Painting with paper workshops

I had the great pleasure of teaching a private class for a group of bee lovers recently. We all practiced monoprinting then sat down to make our collage “paintings”. I always love seeing how differently everyone’s pieces turn out, and especially love when someone veers off entirely to create their own original piece.

If you are interested in private workshops, message me and we’ll see what we can put together, as I’m still working on my booking page.

Upcoming workshops

I’ll be teaching a needle-felted snowperson workshop at the Brainerd Public Library on Tuesday, January 21st from 5:15-6:45. Sign up information will be posted soon at the library.

Thank you for reading. It means the world to me.

I’ll be back next month with more updates. In the meantime I’ll be posting on instagram and facebook. If you think someone else may enjoy my work, I’d be grateful if you’d share this with them or encourage them to visit my website where they can sign up for my newsletter, consider workshops, and peruse my work.

Thank you!
