Join us as we coax wool fibers into an adorable red and white spotted mushroom.
This is a great workshop for beginners.
Using a specially-barbed needle, we will sculpt a mushroom about 4” tall out of wool. All supplies are provided and there will be additional kits available for purchase for those that would like to make more.
Because we work with needles, this class is recommended for ages 13+.
Your instructor, Lisa Ackerman of lil fish studios, has been needle felting since 2006 and has introduced thousands of students to the art form. She will teach you the basics of the art form, be there to help you troubleshoot, and encourage you to embrace your piece’s uniqueness.
We are located in the Franklin Arts Center, 1001 Kingwood St, Brainerd. Suite 101. Park on Kingwood Street or in the public parking lot across the street and enter through the side door (marked South Door at the top) go up the ramp and the studio is just to your right with the red door.
