Taking our inspiration from Van Gogh, we’ll be learning to capture the warmth and beauty of sunflowers in this fun and hands-on workshop.
Using a collection of original hand-printed papers created by artist Lisa Ackerman, you'll build a vibrant sunflower composition on a 8” x 10” cradled wood panel. Through tearing, layering, and arranging these beautiful papers, you'll create an artwork that blends the line between painting and collage.
No drawing experience is needed. You'll be guided through the process of creating sunflowers, leaves, and a vase while exploring color, composition, and texture. The hand-printed papers provide endless possibilities, ensuring every piece is unique.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike. Come enjoy a creative morning, slow down, and leave with a finished sunflower artwork ready to display in your home or gift to someone special.
