Bring some happy, colorful, artful nature vibes into your home with this felted moss garden workshop. Lisa will teach you how to needle-felt the scene using a few different techniques. You'll be called to relax, explore, and tap into your sense of whimsy as we make little mounds of moss, flowers, and mushroom caps together.
This class is perfect for beginners, but also fun for those with prior felting experience. Using a specially-barbed needle and fluffy, hand-dyed wool, we will coax fibers into shape. All materials are included, and students get to keep their needles and some extra wool after class. Additional supplies may be purchased from the instructor after class if desired.
$40 per person. Limited to 12 participants.
Class will take place at The Last Turn, 214 S 8th St, Brainerd. Participants will receive a complimentary drink with their ticket purchase (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Come early for dinner, then meet us promptly at 5:30 in the back room. Class runs until 8:00 but if you don’t finish, never fear, you will have plenty of materials to take home and I’m always available for questions. *Please note: this location is not handicapped accessible.
