After a long winter, let’s celebrate spring by creating a bright, layered collage inspired by pollinators and the plants they love. Using hand-printed papers, bold shapes, and joyful color, you’ll build a nature-inspired scene on a wooden panel—think flowers in bloom, bees on the move, and gardens coming back to life.
This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly class—no drawing skills or prior collage experience needed.
The instructor will give a brief demo on monoprinting, the process she uses to create the beautiful, painterly papers. (keep an eye for workshops on monoprinting with a gelli plate soon)
You’ll leave with a finished collage mounted on wood, ready to display, and full of joy. The hexagonal wood frames measure roughly 5” across.
All materials are provided.
Class will be held at lil fish studios, studio 101 in the Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd.
