Part of my ongoing exploration of pollinators and the habitats they depend on and affect. This fun piece has bright red ladybugs against a splash of greenery.
The process : I print each sheet of paper using acrylic paint and a gelli plate and use them to create paper illustrations. The unique papers give these pieces a painterly effect. The overlapping pieces add texture and interest. Each piece is sealed with a matte sealer.
The sides are painted black. This piece could be framed or can be hung as-is.
Shipping to the United States only. Sorry, I can’t ship internationally at this time. Locals can arrange pick up in the BLA at no cost.
